My Kellogg's Target trip!


I went to Target today to take advantage of the Kellogg's $5 gift card deal, you can read that post HERE.

I did this in 4 transactions, so I could roll my gift cards to keep my oop a little lower.

Transaction #1:
(2) Schick Silk Razors -$9.49 ea.
used (2) $4/1 MQ's from the 2/26 SS
+ used (2) $1.50/1 TQ's
Final price =$7.98 oop
got back $5 gift card

Transaction #2:
(5) Kellogg's Frosted Flakes -$2.75 ea.
used $5/5 printable (NLA)
+ used $1/3 TQ
Final price =$7.75
used $5 gc from previous purchase
= $2.75 oop!!
got back $5 gc

Transaction #3:
(1) Raisin Bran -$2.64
(4) Crunchy Nut -$2.75 ea.
used $5/5 printable (NLA)
+ used $1/3 TQ
Final price =$7.64
used $5 gc from previous purchase
=$2.64 oop!!
got back $5 gc

Transaction #4:
(5) Eggo Waffles -$2 ea.
(4) Market Pantry chicken burritos -.89 ea.
used $1/3 Eggo printable
used (2) $1/1 MP frozen chicken products TQ (adjusted to .89 ea)
used (1) $1.50/2 MP frozen chicken products TQ
Final price =$9.28
used $5 gc from previous purchase
=$4.28 oop!!
got back $5 gc

Summary:
Paid $17.65 oop, got back $5 gc -like paying $12.65 for 21 items or .60 ea!!!

**Freezer Hint -when you are stockpiling an item like Eggo Waffles that don't have any special instructions for heating, take the plastic baggie out of the box & throw away the box.  It just takes up room in your freezer, obviously you already know how to put these in a toaster to heat them, so no need for the box!**
