Awesome Printable Coupons!

Here are some really great coupons to print on Wyeth & Pfizer brand products.  They are all available on one page, but each one is a sign-up for each individual e-newsletter.  Each of these coupons can be printed an unlimited number of times by using your back button/ printer settings, but I would not print these more than twice each, as this is the usual number of prints allowed by one computer.

$1/1 Advil,  $1/1 Children's Advil,  $1/1 Advil PM,  $1/1 Alavert,  $2/1 Caltrate 155+ ct.,  $1/1 Caltrate 120 or less ct., $3/2 Both Centrum & Centrum Kids,  $1/1 Centrum or Centrum Kids,  $3/1 Centrum Cardio or Performance,  $2/1 Centrum Silver 150+ ct.,  $5/2 Centrum Ultra/Silver Ultra Men's or Women's,  $2/1 Centrum Ultra/Silver Ultra Men's or Women's,  $2/1 Dimetapp,  $2/1 Preparation H item,  $1/1 Thermacare 2 ct.+

Tide Coupon

There have been some developments in the Tide $2/1 coupon that is coming out in this Sunday's P&G insert.  Most sites are advising people to use this coupon at Walmart on the single load Tide found in the travel section for a $1.03 MM (money maker) on each one.  I myself have used the $1/1 Tide coupon on this item as well, but now Tide has finally cleared up the reason why this type of coupon beeps every time you try to use it on the single load!  It apparently is not a P&G item!  It is subletted out to another company called Cotton Buds.  According to the Tide FB page, it is at the store's discretion as to weather they will accept this coupon or not.  I myself will not be using it on this product because the company has stated that it is not a P&G product & therefore the store will most likely not get reimbursed for it.  Here is a copy of the actual comments left on the Tide FB page:

Inserts for this weekend.

We should be getting 3 inserts in this weekend's paper SmartSource, Red Plum, and P&G!

Don't forget the Victoria Advocate has a repeat of the SmartSource in their Wednesday edition!

It has been reported that in the P&G insert there will be a $2/1 Tide detergent.  If you use this on the single load Tide found in the travel section it will make this a $1.03 Money Maker (MM), but I highly doubt our Walmart will allow this.  I have had major problems using the $1/1 coupons on this product & that only gives you a .03 overage, so just be aware that you may have problems using that coupon here, and you may want to try the Walmart in Victoria instead.

Save Those Receipts!

If you're planning on doing the HEB P&G deal, here is a Mail in Rebate form to go with the P&G products you may be buying:

$10 Rebate wyb $50 in P&G products!

Here is a Mail in Rebate form for Olay products.  Remember if you are a member of the Beauty Club at CVS all of these products count toward your Beauty Club purchaces;

$10 Rebate wyb $30 of Olay products!

Walmart's New Christmas Price Guarantee!

I have heard some conflicting rumors about the new Christmas Price Matching Guarantee from Walmart, so I would like to tell you all I know about it & how it can make your Holiday shopping a little easier.

The whole idea behind the Guarantee is that Walmart is determined to be the lowest price around, even if the item you bought went on sale AFTER you bought it at Walmart.  So, if you buy an item at Walmart, and then 4 days later it goes on sale at Target (or any other store) then you can bring your receipt and the current ad into Walmart and they will give you the differance in price on a Walmart gift card.  This Guarantee is only good for the 8 weeks leading up to Christmas (Nov. 1- Dec. 25) and DOES NOT include any Black Friday ads or internet pricing.  Here is all of the "fine print":

Offer excludes Black Friday ads, expired ads, offers with gift cards, internet pricing, limited time or quantity offers (i.e. 6 hour sales), percent off ads, bundles, trade-in offers, offers that require a purchace or gift with purchace, clearance ads with typographical errors.  It also does not apply to grocery items, non-branded items (i.e. live plants) tobacco, firearms, gas, tires, prescription drugs, optical or wireless products that require a service agreement.   Whew!  So other than that your set! LOL!

Basicly it's a guarantee that if you buy a gift item at Walmart they promise you will get the lowest price for that gift by buying it there, even if it goes on sale somewhere else or later on in the season at Walmart itself.

Here is where I got most of my information if you would like to read up on it yourself.
Walmart Christmas Price Guarantee

If you have any additional questions about this new policy, just leave a comment & I will be sure to answer!

Coupon Policies

One of the first things I think is most important when couponing is to read and have on hand the coupon policies for the stores you shop at.  The best way to coupon is to be informed.  I will post links to our local stores' coupon policies, print each one of them out and take them with you when you shop.  I keep mine in my binder.
CVS

Walgreens

HEB

Dollar General

Family Dollar

Walmart

Read through each policy and let me know if you have any questions.

Welcome

Welcome to the new blog for saving you money right here in your own hometown!

The purpose of this blog will be to inform you of the great offers that are available locally and on the web.  I will post Good Deal Alerts (GDA's) for things you can snag on the web at a really great price, high value printable coupon alerts- for great coupons that you can print, and scenarios for couponing at local stores.  The stores I will be posting about will include: Walmart, CVS, Walgreens, HEB, Dollar General, and Family Dollar.  I may include a few stores that we have access to, but are not right here in our hometown (Target).  I will do my best to keep everyone informed in the simplest way possible.  If you have any questions for me please post them and I will answer them as soon as possible, just be aware I don't "live" on my computer, so I may not be able to answer for a few hours or even more, but I will answer within 24 hours.
Thanks for visiting and I can't wait to get started!!!
