Walmart's New Christmas Price Guarantee!

I have heard some conflicting rumors about the new Christmas Price Matching Guarantee from Walmart, so I would like to tell you all I know about it & how it can make your Holiday shopping a little easier.

The whole idea behind the Guarantee is that Walmart is determined to be the lowest price around, even if the item you bought went on sale AFTER you bought it at Walmart.  So, if you buy an item at Walmart, and then 4 days later it goes on sale at Target (or any other store) then you can bring your receipt and the current ad into Walmart and they will give you the differance in price on a Walmart gift card.  This Guarantee is only good for the 8 weeks leading up to Christmas (Nov. 1- Dec. 25) and DOES NOT include any Black Friday ads or internet pricing.  Here is all of the "fine print":

Offer excludes Black Friday ads, expired ads, offers with gift cards, internet pricing, limited time or quantity offers (i.e. 6 hour sales), percent off ads, bundles, trade-in offers, offers that require a purchace or gift with purchace, clearance ads with typographical errors.  It also does not apply to grocery items, non-branded items (i.e. live plants) tobacco, firearms, gas, tires, prescription drugs, optical or wireless products that require a service agreement.   Whew!  So other than that your set! LOL!

Basicly it's a guarantee that if you buy a gift item at Walmart they promise you will get the lowest price for that gift by buying it there, even if it goes on sale somewhere else or later on in the season at Walmart itself.

Here is where I got most of my information if you would like to read up on it yourself.
